Gallery dies… again.

Yes, our gallery has died, again.  This time I jumped the gun and wiped out the gallery without a backup (STUPID!).

Howdy! Welcome to AZBay.net, a site put up by Dave & Jen Chandler for our news, photos and other junk. You can contact and if you're looking for anything you can't find or have comments.

Make sure you check out the photo gallery, we have pictures of people, places, travels, nature, pets and most recently kids.

About Us

Howdy y'all, welcome to our page!

This is just a little page I threw together to give some info about us. I guess I'll start off because I am the web-master and main maintainer of this page.

Anyway, my name is David Christopher Chandler and I was born in Albuquerque, NM in the year of the country's bicentennial to my two loving parents Larry and Joan Chandler. After about a year there (of which i obviously don't remember a thing ;-) my father was asked by his accounting firm to make a move to Farmington, NM and work in their new branch office there. This move would put us in the town where most of my mother's family lives, her family moved there back in the mid-60's (I believe, correct me if I'm wrong Mom) so it's where she graduated high school and lived before going to New Mexico State University. There at NMSU, she met my father. My younger brother Benjamin was born a few years later. We had the luck to spend most of our youth in a neighborhood that was (just) outside the city limits, so it was almost in a rural area, but we were also less than a quarter mile from town, so we had it all, the asphalt streets and the wilds of the Animas River valley. Many a summer day spent wondering the forrest that surrounds the river, and the river itself.

At any rate, I graduated from Farmington High School in 1995, and decided to follow in my Mom and Dad's footsteps to Las Cruces to be an Aggie. I had many an adventure there, great times with Delta Sigma Phi and my brothers there, then in the house on Valle Vista where I lived with my real Brother for several years, and eventually was introduced through the somewhat sneaky but always lovable friend of mine Sara Booth to my soon to be wife Jennifer Sullivan. Yes, so I certainly do live in a family of Aggies, my wife and me, my brother, Mother, Father, and I guess if you want to count them, a Sister and Brother-in-law who are UC Davis (California) Aggies, and a couple cousins who are Texas A&M Aggies as well (you have to count them all we Aggies stick together)!

Anyway, so Jennifer (yes, alright JEN) and I dated for almost exactly 3 years, yes, Jen planned the wedding right around the third anniversary of our first date (I'm not being mean, I really do wish I had that kind of a memory). And so we were married on July 5, 2003 (07/05/03, and if that's not easy enough it's just after the 4th of July, can't beat that guys). Which brings us to the present. I currently work for and study at New Mexico State University as a Computer Operations Specialist, which is a nice term for computer renaissance man, where I do everything from maintaining hardware related to our ID Card office, writing and implementing data feeds between systems, to fixing the printer upstairs. Mainly I do systems integration which is a really interesting job, with administration and maintenance of the Blackboard system and all the dependent and related systems.

So. Unless I can think of anything else, that's my blurb… may the force be with you!

So now I'm just waiting for Jen's stuff, which will go here below (or above, she's the most important! ;-) Contact us via the contact menu link. Have a great time on our site!
