Here's Sean and I at the Rio Grande Zoo, it was a fun trip, I'm not sure how much Sean really got to see but it was enjoyable to watch Sean and Aiden checking out the animals.
My newest gun
Yes, I finally did it, I was able to get my hands on an AR-15, well a Bushmaster M4 Carbine anyway, it's a beautiful gun and and much more accurate than my Ruger Mini-14 to boot. I've been wanting an AR-15 family gun for a while now. Say what you want about throwing "trash" where you eat (my nice way of saying it), yes the exhaust gases do end up in the clip, yes it's not the "ideal" design for long term operability in a highly dirty environment, but it's super accurate and I haven't had a problem with it yet, ...
Some eye candy for the site
Rather than tell you about what changes I'm making, I'm going to start showing you. You see the first featured post, notice the neat little gallery. This will be the home page and probably won't be updated too often, I hope to post a picture of an event here and a link to the full gallery of the event posted elsewhere. Anyway, here's Sean, sleeping when he was about a month old. One of my favorites. I hope to have a sean gallery soon, but I don't now so keep your eyes open.

Well I finally did it, and I said to heck with trying to convert. I will be posting old stories and trying to move as much content as I can from the old site to the new one.
